Maura Federico -- Head Teacher 3's Room
Maura holds a B.A. in Early Childhood and Art and has much experience working with
young children including the Children's Preschool in New Haven.

Brenda Ward-Kelley -- Director
Brenda holds a B.S. in Elementary Education and Connecticut State Elementary Teaching
Certification. She has had many years as a Family Day Care provider, Preschool teacher,
and has taught at 1st Church Preschool for over 6 years.

Audra Boccardi-- Co-Teacher 3's Room
Audra holds an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She is a state certified
Head Teacher and a state certified Educational Consultant.

Karen Scheiber -- Head Teacher 4's Room
Karen holds a B.S. in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Teaching Certification
and has many years of experience teaching young children.

Cindy Cavallaro -- Head Teacher 5's Room
Cindy holds a B.A. in Early Childhood Education and has many years of experience
working with preschool children.

We also have student volunteers from Cheshire Academy in the fall and spring months.

1st Church Preschool Staff
The Staff at First Church Preschool are professionally trained early childhood educators. Our teachers
are also CPR and 1st Aid certified. They all also have a degree and are experienced. We have a head
teacher with an assistant in every class. All continue their education with ongoing training each year.
We are all committed in helping each child grow and mature in a loving and positive way.

Emily Bullis -- Pre-K Teacher / Head Afternoon Program Teacher
Emily Holds an Associate Degree in Child Development and is working toward her
Bachelor's Degree in Child Study. She has previously taught preschool in Wolcott and
Southbury, CT.

Mary-Lynn holds a B.S. in Early Childhood Education.
