We are planning our annual field trip to Hickory Hill Apple Orchard. We will learn how apples grow by walking
through the orchard area, pick apples, and have a little snack before returning to 1st Church around 11 a.m. Since
this is our first field trip, we think it’s important to keep it simple and fun. The 4’s teachers and parent volunteers will
be driving with children in the backseats of cars.
We will be interested to see how apples grow and plan to pick many of them to bring back to school to use in our
Apple Unit studies.
Some Notes:
* Please leave a labeled car seat with us that morning.
* Please make sure your child is dressed for the weather and wearing appropriate shoes for walking in
orchard terrain.
