I highly recommend First Church Preschool! The program is creative, engaging, and developmentally appropriate and the staff is knowledgeable and caring. My children gained valuable skills during their time there and I was able to rest easy knowing that they were receiving such high quality care. Sending my children to First Church was quite simply one of the best decisions I have made as a parent so far.
First Church is a wonderful preschool that provides a nurturing and caring hands-on environment for preschoolers. Both of my children adored the school and had great experiences in the “3’s”, “4’s”, and “5’s” rooms. Our family loved the sense of community that the school fosters and we have developed lifelong friendships from our years at First Church!
All 3 of my kids flourished at 1st church preschool! I can't say enough about what a wonderful, family oriented community they have created. The result is a program that develops truly wonderful kids! I have no proof, but I'm willing to bet that if you checked, 1st Church kids are all thriving in elementary school. I know mine are!! I wish my kids could stay at First Church forever! I had kids at First Church for four years straight. They do an unbelievable job of gently teaching and guiding what seems like babies when they start in the three's room, into confident, outgoing kindergarteners! The staff is highly qualified and talented and stable. Every teacher there knows all the kids and their families. It is the perfect gentle beginning for your child's school years.
Loving, educational and fun! I cannot say enough positive things about First Church Preschool. Whether you're looking for just a preschool or day care, it is the place to be. Teachers and administration are lovely and understanding. Working parents are stress-free knowing that they can drop their child off as early as 7:30 am and pick up as late as 5:30 pm. The curriculum is innovative and contemporary. Field trips are a great supplement. The playground has endless fun for every type of child. Your child will get personal attention and the school is very communicative with the parents. "Goodbye Books" are an amazing gift to parents at the end of the year. Summer camp continues the fun. Best child care experience I've ever had. Honestly can't find anything negative to say. Enroll today!
Our family became part of the First Church Preschool Family in 2010 and it was one of the best decisions we made. After an extensive search, we enrolled our first child in the program. Our son loved and thrived in such a heartfelt environment. Our second son, just started his first year, and is already off and running. The teachers and staff have been tremendous and have gone above and beyond to teach and to care for our children. First Church offers such a warm and loving experience where our children get introduced to their first friends and their first sense of community. The school has provided the best home away from home environment for our children and for that we are extremely fortunate and grateful. The school is a true gem.
From the moment my son stepped into 1st Church Preschool, he was happy and eager to engage with the other children and teachers. That hasn't changed in his two years there. The environment is warm, supportive and all schoolmates are referred to as 'friends.' The NAEYC accreditation is a big plus as well. The curriculum is very strong at 1st Church and the children have fun while learning and preparing for primary school.
As a full time working mom, I found very few full day programs in Cheshire. I knew what I wanted for my daughter and interviewed every program in Cheshire. The moment I walked into First Church, I knew it was the right place for her! It is a home away from home. The best choice in town!
Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined how happy my son would be at 1st Church Preschool. From the day he started, he has been enthusiastic, positive and has transformed his shy and uncertain tendencies into confidence, curiosity and focus and he loves going to school to see his teachers and his friends. Quite often when I come to pick him up, he doesn’t want to leave. I am truly amazed and grateful for the feedback I receive regarding his development. The amount of feedback we receive throughout the school year has at times left me speechless. There is so much thought that goes into their academic development yet the preschool environment is fun, nurturing and always provides a lesson that he is eager to tell me about on the way home. Most importantly, it is truly a special place and when I drop my son off in the morning, I know that he is going to have a great day!
